General Information and Awards:
The Tylenol Scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate
leadership in their community and who plan to pursue careers
in health-related fields. High-school seniors, undergraduates,
and even graduate students who study at (or will study at)
an accredited two-year or four-year college, university,
or vocational school are eligible to apply. Undergraduates
and graduate students must have at least one year of school
remaining. Applicants must also be residents of the United
States. The Tylenol Scholarship will judge applicants on
their leadership qualities and overall academic performance.
Contestants will have to complete several forms on personal
information; list school, community, and volunteering activities;
and complete a couple short essays on goals and aspirations.
Ultimately, the Tylenol Scholarship is perfect for those
students who have been exposed to health-related activities
and or research (e.g. hospital volunteering, AIDS fundraising
events, biological research for science fairs). Ten students
receive $10,000. Another one-hundred and fifty students
will win $1,000 (A total of $ 250,000!).
