Audience - The Grader - Anything written was written for an audience. Whether the audience was intentionally considered or not is another issue. But knowing whom you are writing your standardized test essay for is useful information.

Essay Grading - The CollegeBoard has published information on how the SAT is graded. Here is my translation of their abstract rhetoric.

Essay Vocabulary - Rough Draft - Put some SAT vocab in your essay. Why? Well, why not? You'll look like you have command of the English language. Where and how can you put vocab in your essay? Here, let me show you.
