The Center for Talent Development (CTD) offers
a great summer academic enrichment experience to hundreds
of students every year. The Center has programs for students
from pre-kindergarten to 12th grade. The Equinox program
is a 3-week-long camp designed especially for those students
in the 10th, 11th, or 12th grades. The program offers a wide
variety of course options covering topics from creative writing
to Advanced Placement preparation curses. The full list can
be seen at the following link:

Since the CTD is accredited, many of these courses
can be counted for high school credit. The quality
of education at CTD is not without considerable hard work
and expertise from its faculty, which consists of only the
finest teachers from the Chicago and Cleveland metropolitan
areas. All classes also have teaching assistants for additional
help inside and outside of the classroom.
A summer program, however, would not be truly exceptional
if it did not also teach life lessons and allow for social
enrichment. Residential life at the CTD allows
students to interact with peers through many planned events
such as games, sports, dances, and much more. As alumni
of the program, many members of the Scholar Holler community
can attest to the outstanding quality and rigor of the coursework
and residential experience at the CTD.
